lately I cannot get enough of smearing some gorgeous, creamy home-made feta on toasted turkish.
drizzling with raw honey.
sprinkling some fresh oregano.
now that pepper lets me put her down for longer than 47 seconds, I get to eat all this in one sitting. no interruptions.
then I kiss her with the stickiest lips in the land.
I’m not sure which one I’m more obsessed with!

Yumm that looks delicious – it is amazing how we can get hooked on the simplest of combinations. Whilst I was studying at university I was hooked on toasted soy and linseed bread, topped with mascarpone and cranberry jam. It is AWESOME (and a little bit Christmas)! I’m obsessed with the gingerbread cookies & caramel pretzel bark I made on the weekend. They are crazy good & I made them as gifts but had a heap left over & now I am shoveling them in my mouth at least twice a day. Good stuff!!
But lady you can’t say ” homemade feta” & then not give recipe!!! I want to be obsessed with that too! I’m sure it’s much better for me than cookies & bark 😉

Oh it’s too hot to put the oven on here to bake cookies 🙁 I was going to fry a gingerbread cake, but too lazy to get molasses.
And I can’t help with the feta, sadly – it was a gift! But super smooth and creamy and salty and yum xx

Just a heads up if it cools down & you decide to make some gingerbread- don’t use molasses! It seems to dry the mix out. Use half golden syrup, half treacle. It works heaps better & so damn tasty 😀

That looks amazing,I am not really obsessed with anything at the moment though I do love homemade pizza which I haven’t made for a while and Cherries and apricots and mangoes loving them so maybe I am a little obsessed with the fruit that is around this time of year.You always make the most yummy looking things x

I dig ricotta or cottage cheese with honey, spose I’ll be trying your version next! I’m obsessed with porridge. I eat it every morning like I’m freakin Mummy Bear. On the rare occasion we have breakky out I make porridge for lunch & I like, apologise to my oats for not ‘doing em’ that morning.

Oh yes I love porridge too. Too hot to eat it at the moment, though. I’m so glad you keep your relationship with it alive by proper communication. Honesty is key.
PS I made my own cottage cheese last week, are you proud?! So much nicer than that watery crap in a container.
