A little while ago I realised that out of all the 1000+ posts on this blog, the one where I announced my pregnancy with Smalls had gone missing.
Even worse – when I looked up that post on the old-internet goldmine the Wayback Machine, it was gone from there too! Cue devastation.
I truly love the Wayback Machine, I get to see this blog in all its iterations over the last seven and a half years, and click through all the items like it’s still a live site. I forget so much of what I’ve done here, it always gives me Good Feelings to see it all as it once was. Not to mention old versions of current sites, which is a total riot when you go searching back.
Anyway, I was looking for something else this morning when I clicked on a version of the blog that still published full blog posts on the front page and whaddya know – Why You Should Never Diagnose Yourself With Stuff off the Internet was there! I have saved it for posterity via jpg, just in case. And they say the internet is forever…
Is this new for you? Were you around when this was published five years ago? I was v. pleased to see it again.

Today, the internet gods deem I can visit your actual blog! Hurrah!!!
I think I may have found you a little after this via Nikki & a photo she posted of you 2 I think I may have been JUST pregnant with Blake & was very pleased to find someone writing about babies because I’d forgotten every single thing I’d ever known about raising babies by then. And now I’m in that stage of still having little people who need me & are quite bonkers with their demands at times but also missing my tiny babies….these bloody years go too quickly!
