My thoughts? I wish I had something better to say, really! It wasn’t for me, I’m afraid.
I know the whole premise is set on parodying the Man Booker Prize selection process, but being unfamilar with that, everything just went over my head. I didn’t find the writing funny or snappy or even terribly satirical. Funnily enough it referenced Trainspotting but even that wasn’t enough to get me over the line!
