Everything Happens So Much | The Idiot Report
So much all of this. They say we live in an age where we’re overwhelmed with info but I’d (and this essay does) argue that we’re overwhelmed with opinions. Remember those things we only ever used to hear when your loud uncle would have too many VB stubbies at your backyard barbie or a some people would shout things at the telly when you were over? Nowadays we hear six impossible opinions before breakfast.
Djab Wurrung people have been failed and betrayed at every turn | Crikey
I’m so heartbroken at the removal of these sacred birthing trees near Ararat to make way for the Western Highway. As the article says, they have
hosted the delivery of an estimated 10,000 Djab Wurrung babies in their hollow trunks, and have ties to 56 family groups. They are an incredibly spiritual place for the local Aboriginal people and have been for much longer than we’re capable of understanding.
If Keanu Reeves’s Date Can Embrace Looking Her Age, I Can Too | The New York Times
Keanu apparently has a girlfriend and she is out there living her best life with (shock horror) undyed hair. Dismantling our patriarchal conditioning that we should be beautiful and youthful at all times takes a minute, I understand, but the more we can just say DO WHAT YOU WANT YOU’RE STILL COOL the better, I think.

God I love finding out what people are like when they’re at home.
Kimchi Fried Rice | One Meal a Day
you may know by now I’m completely obsessed with Korean cooking videos on YouTube, but this kimchi fried rice is hands down life-changing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve made it recently and I don’t know how I lived without it.
You can buy veg-friendly kimchi, or you can follow Maangchi’s advice (I would, and will) and DIY your own.
What interesting things have you read lately?

Stacey says
